Denise (Host)

Denise was raised by two parents who had a desire for travel, prayer, and service. Her father served in the Navy and The Pentagon in Arlington Virginia, and her mother was a teacher who specialized in ED/LD resources for children in middle school. Some of her early years were spent growing up in London, England, which had a significant impact on how Denise views the world. She began playing tennis and competed for the greater part of her young life and has explored the mind and body relationships for over three decades. She started teaching yoga in 1999 to express her ideas about this relationship. She holds one bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry and is currently in the process of finishing her second in Nursing. Her studies have included along the way yoga asana, Chinese medicine, energy medicine, and meditation. She has sat with Masters, Gurus, and teachers all over the world.
