Most of our most popular oracles are extremely old, even ancient. Yet, we still use the old symbols and ideas, expecting them to fit into our modern world and all its discontents. Should they change? Should we transform them into something new, or are they just fine as they are? Would they be more accurate if they reflected modern society, or is that simply rubbish? I’ll burn some brain cells on this subject.
